  • Shepherd’s Pie for days

Shepherd's pie (with ketchup) was my favourite meal growing up. I'm glad to have it back in my life (in the vegan form) because it's just as comforting, filling and as convenient as the traditional one. And I still enjoy it with Ketchup ;)
  • Orange-Lavender Muffins

These turned out really good! I had been wanting to bake with lavender for a while and the orange/vanilla flavour compliments it really nicely. Go easy on the lavender though, the first batch I made tasted so strong that no one could handle it! I got a text back from my friend saying she could still taste the lavender on her breath lol! But when you hit it right it's just beautiful :)
  • Cozy Vegetable Curry

Don't we all love a nice, rich curry dish to comfort our soul, especially during rainy seasons. The base of this sauce is simple so you can play around with spices and use your vegetables of choice. Potatoes, carrots, green peas, lemongrass, cilantro, chilli peppers etc. are all very fitting for this dish. Oh and it tastes even better the next day!
  • Fresh Spring Rolls with Ginger Dipping Sauce

I think most of us are dying for spring to show up. Here's a nice colourful dish to brighten your day! Fill them with your favourite veggies, and a really good dipping sauce is key. I found this sauce recipe many years ago from this raw food recipe book; Delightfully Raw by Carmella's Sunny Raw Kitchen. It has been a keeper ever since.
  • Classic Potato Salad

Who doesn't love potato salad, especially when extra creamy and flavourful! This side dish can easily be transformed into a nutritious meal by adding steamed kale or arugula. Also a great option for dinner parties.
  • Curried Butternut Squash Soup with Cinnamon Croutons

I love this soup for it's texture and rich flavour.. especially in the fall/winter season.
  • No Bake – Dark Cherry Chocolate Cheesecake

I absolutely love raw desserts! This one is rich and dense, it feels like a sin except you can pretty much eat it for breakfast! I highly recommend using a vita-mix for a smooth texture, and you'll want the help of a plunger.
  • Best Caesar Salad

One of my all time favourite! I can just eat a huge bowl to myself as a meal, and sometimes I add massaged kale and/or boiled potatoes to it.
  • Feel-Good Mac & Cheese

I grew up eating mac & cheese, so I HAD to come up with a healthy version. I got totally inspired by this amazing vegan book "Let's Eat" by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. The cheesy sauce is made of butternut squash, and I use the quinoa macaroni pasta for a gluten-free version. I also load it with steamed broccoli. The kids love it!
  • Balsamic-Beet Quinoa Salad with Basil

I honestly make this salad at least twice a week. It's so easy and SO delicious! The combination of basil, beets and balsamic is just perfect
